This is an amazing opportunity for younger artists (ages 6-12) to create a personal gift for a favorite grown-up in their lives. On Tuesday, December 10, 2024, 4:00 - 5:15 pm, artists will be painting a beautiful winter landscape, that will be framed in a wooden frame, then wrapped in a decorated gift bag, complete with a personalized tag. Artists will exit the Studio with a special gift that is ready to give!
Join us Monday, October 14, 2024, 9:30 am - 12:00 pm, for a fun-filled art workshop featuring both 2D and 3D art activities! Artists will draw, sculpt and paint their favorite popular character (or design a character of their own) using clay, then bring them to life by creating a multi-media 3D world.
Explore the 2,000 year old tradition of Sumi-e ink painting. Originally these paintings were created by aristocrats and monks throughout Asia as a form of meditation. Inspired by the brush marks made by their written language, artists use elegant strokes to create this art. Students will learn a variety of brush marks and rules for composition. Saturday, January 27, 2024, 12:30 - 4:00 pm, ages 12 to adult.
An opportunity for younger artists to discover the ancient tradition of Japanese Sumi-e ink painting. Under the guidance of an instructor who has practiced under a Taiwanese master, students will learn and practice a variety of specific brush marks, then create a greeting card. Tuesday, December 12, 2023, 4:00 - 5:15 pm, ages 8-14.
