Welcome to Amelia Art Studio

The studio created by Lauren Templeton is mainly structured as a series of small group instruction in drawing, painting, ceramics, and mixed media for ages toddler to teen.

Young artists come to Amelia Art Studio to develop artistic skills, sharpen technique, and enjoy opportunities to exhibit art in the community. With an emphasis on Arts Integration and Art History, Lauren’s teaching methods are focused on reinforcing the formal elements of art, the basic principles of design, and nurturing a long-lasting passion for art-making. Plus she’s a ton of fun!

Lauren and her staff are great. They teach art concepts in a very fun and simple way for young kids. They are great with kids in general and I really appreciate their patience and creativity. Thank you Lauren and staff for making art education such a priority and being awesome.

Miss Lauren is a truly gifted educator and you 100% get your money’s worth! The Mommy + Me toddler class is truly amazing enrichment with motor skills we can practice all week. Our son missed 2 weeks of class and she assembled & saved all the art projects for us to take home and do together.

Not only has my daughter been attending art classes here for 3 years and LOVES them, they hosted an adult session that taught Sumi-e painting. It made me so happy to wake that creative side of myself back up! If you have kids that love art, sign them up. You won't regret it because each week you will see how much they grow as they learn new forms of art. The staff truly shines bright and you feel it whether you're the student or your child is.

Our 5 yr old daughter had a GREAT time at art camp! Can’t wait to do it again next year.

Our three year old has attended classes during the school year as well as summer camp and loves Amelia Art Studio. She has learned to have self-confidence in her work and an enjoyment for different types of art. We will continue sending her to classes here!

Amelia art studio is an amazing place for kids! My two boys have been there for two years, they love it so much!

Both my daughter's aged 12 and 13 took summer classes. Both of my girls are homeschooled. And I'll be honest, I'm very particular in what I allow my girls to partake in. After speaking with Lauren, I knew this was going to be great! My girls had a great time and their teacher was so much fun, according to them. Oh, yeah, the art was even better!! They took both summer classes and loved them both. Highly recommend Amelia Art Studio.

I cannot say enough positive things about Amelia Art Studio and the owner, Lauren Templeton. For the past two years, my boys have been attending her art classes and camps. I am in awe of all the knowledge, passion, and enthusiasm for creating art the staff have instilled in my children. The projects they create and curriculum they cover is incredibly creative. We are so lucky to have such an amazing business in Fernandina Beach and I look forward to sending my boys to their camps for years to come.

We love Amelia Art Studio. This has been our third year attending their summer camp, and I am blown away each time! The art they bring home is creative and thoughtful, the staff is encouraging and attentive, and we look forward to it each summer.
