Private ceramics lessons provide individualized instruction in a variety of hand-building.  You will explore forming, trimming, glazing, and surface decoration while gaining confidence in working with clay.  Lessons are tailored to all skill levels, from beginners learning the basics to advanced artists refining their craft.

Your journey begins as a one-hour introductory lesson with materials included.  If you’re a beginner, your introductory lesson will be used to introduce you to basic hand building techniques and determine what you would like to achieve.  If you’re more advanced, you can use this time to demonstrate your skills and discuss project plans.  Subsequent lessons will most likely be twice a week until project is considered finished and ready to be fired.  Depending on size and thickness, there will be a minimum of 1-2 weeks dry time.  Firing will take place according to the current kiln schedule.

Cancellation/Refund Policy:  Before you register for classes, please be aware that a full refund will no longer be issued.  If you cancel outside of 24 hours, we will issue a refund of your unused lesson(s) minus a $20.00 admin fee.  Cancellations within 24 hours of your scheduled day/time will result in a forfeiture of that lesson.  There is no refund of the materials/admin fee.   Click here to view our cancellation/refund policy.
