Here at the Studio, we make learning the concepts of art and principles of design fun, yet age-appropriately challenging. We create our lesson plans with these ideas in mind. We firmly believe in the philosophy of “process over product” so everyone who enters the Studio will gain the freedom and confidence to make art.
Art Bambini (ages 1-3, accompanied by an adult) offers a multi-sensory approach to art discovery, introducing clay, painting and drawing to little ones.
Art Explorers (ages 3-6) give beginners the basic tools for creative expression. Our art projects introduce drawing, painting, and ceramics to young artists.
Art Adventure (ages 6-9) offers elementary artists an opportunity to find new pathways for creativity. We expose artists to all visual art mediums from sculpture to printmaking.
Art Creators (ages 9-12) help artists develop creative problem-solving skills. Artists enjoy designing, creating, and collaborating while working with a wide variety of art mediums. Lessons are complex and require more time to complete, so two weeks are allotted for one lesson.
Art Club (ages 12-15) provides art training for advancing artists in all mediums. We focus on refining technique and encouraging artists to distinguish their own artistic styles. Lessons are complex and require more time to complete, so two weeks are allotted for one lesson.
